On Thassos you will find some of the absolute best sandy beaches of the Aegean Sea, with crystal clear waters. Mass tourism has not reached the island and here you can immerse yourself in a breath-taking natural environment and get to know a laid back culture that warmly welcomes every visitor. Visit some of the mountain villages to eat traditional homemade dishes in an authentic Greek setting for cheap money.

For those of you that want to experience an active holiday Thassos has a lot to offer. The island is a great place for hiking and there are many good hiking trails. The most demanding is a hiking trail starting from the village Potamia on the eastern side of the island up to the highest peak Ipsarion (1200 m.a.s.l. ). When you reach the summit after about 3 hours of walking you have a magnificent panoramic view of the island and mainland.

Thassos has become a very popular destination for cyclists and particularly for those interested in mountain biking and there are several mountain bike races taking place throughout the year. There are plenty of cycle paths (dirt roads) in the mountains with varying degree of difficulty.

The tennis court belongs to the private villa area and is a couple of minutes walking distance from the house. In close proximity there is also a soccer field.

Communal pool area with larger pool is within a couple of minutes walking distance of the house. You also have access to a private pool at the house.

Buy only seat ticket to Thassos (Kavala). Transfer to the ferry terminal of Keramoti takes 15 minutes by car.

Ryanair

With Ryanair you can fly to Thessaloniki. From there, take the motorway for about 2h until you arrive at the ferry terminal of Keramoti.

From the ferry terminal

From the ferry terminal of Keramoti it takes about 35 minutes by ferry to Thassos Town, and from there it is about 15 minutes by car until you arrive at the house.
